Andrew was born and raised on the East Coast of Canada. From Sydney, NS, Andrew graduated from Dalhousie University with a degree in Political Science and then from Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law in 2015 with his Juris Doctorate where he received the Schulich Scholarship in Law. Andrew then articled in northern Labrador with the Crown Attorney’s Office before moving to Meadow Lake, SK where he worked as a Crown Prosecutor throughout the north. He then moved to Saskatoon in 2020 where he worked as a Senior Crown Prosecutor.
Andrew has considerable criminal experience and has appeared at all levels of court in Saskatchewan. He worked in the Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) for 8 years and has handled all manner of Criminal Code files from Assault to Murder, including many jury trials, and has handled various high-profile and serious cases.In 2025, Andrew left his role as a Senior Crown and now works as Defence counsel working solely in Criminal law. He bases his practice in both Saskatchewan as well as Nova Scotia where his family ties remain.
The diverse range of criminal law cases he has handled throughout his career allows him to competently and effectively handle any charges you may face, no matter which province you’ve been charged in. Andrew has a very active role in his community as well. He is a decorated officer of over 18 years in the Canadian Forces, where he currently works as a Legal Officer for the Judge Advocate General, providing advice on everything from international law to administrative and disciplinary matters in the Canadian Forces.
